This year, due to the fact that the 24th of Tishrei falls on a Sabbath, the ceremonies will take place in the 24th of Tishrei on Sunday, and so it will be held every year when the date of the 24th of Tishrei falls on a Sabbath.

End of tishrei isn't the same as Nissan. Also, in this situation there is more significance to the date.

Obviously. While their setting of Holocaust rememberance day is related to the Zionist ideal of כוחי ועוצם ידי and was therefore set for the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto revolt while officially commemorating all who perished throughout the war, in this case it is a commemoration of what happens to be a common Yahrzeit (on the following day to allow for civil ceremonies without חילול שבת ויו"ט).

One thing that flew under the radar for me, was that a Kevutza in BMG was tasked by the Roshei Yeshivas with making asifas for communities to be mischazek and daven for the geula and I must give the yungerleit full credit. I just attended one for the Chassidish South neighborhood of Lakewood and I was very impressed. Mi K'Amcha Yisroel. If someone else attended and would like to describe the "Avira", it would be appreciated. It is not announced or advertised beyond the immediate neighborhood that the individual asifa is designed for.
