PSA: there's a severe infestation specifically to romaine but also other varieties from SoCal. We've had to reject a lot and are recommending clients use alternatives for maror including endives and even iceberg or indoor grown with reliable hashgacha, despite the latter two being a machlokes.
Lots of unhappy clients.but as one of my colleagues put it , better an unhappy client than an unhappy g-d
Of course if you can get reliable prewashed , problem solved

Due to the recent kosher alert regarding collagen casings sent out by the OK and Rabbi Eckstein a full audit of our certified locations was conducted.

"Out of an abundance of caution, we would like to inform that the sausages purchased at Meat Master prior to April 4, 2024 should not be consumed.

"In consultation with our poskim it has been determined that any Keilim used for these products DO NOT require koshering."

Can someone tell me what shaychus an abundance of caution has to do with kashrus? If it's kosher, or these a rov, it should be fine. If not, it's assur. It's not like food poisoning. There are halachos.

Halacha is composed of different opinions, and different issurim have different guidelines and levels of severity for when the circumstances or prevailing opinion aren't known definitively.

That is irrelevant to the point that some posit עבידא לטעמא is a problem even though it’s בטל ברוב.
