or punkd the worker had 2 pieces left from a roll she was eating

I originally thought that they gave 2 pcs to everyone, so they can easily split up a roll like that. Now I'm thinking that they had left overs from a combo platter, where some types only come in 4 pcs leaving 4 pcs left.

Correct. He ate by sushi garden a few weeks ago on Sunday night and said the fish was ransid. He ate by sushi mataki last night...wanted to know if fish was bad also.

Yeh your right. Didn't know about the previous experience or the the unwritten rule about eating sushi on weekends.
