pretty obvious from the article they didnt speak to anyone who know him from lakewood at all
basically all their info was from that west side shul bulletin
as far asi can tell, everything being said about his high status in lkwd is highly exagerated.
Positive he wasnt a "practicing rabbi", and even the oft repeated claim that he was a Rosh Kollel, i have yet to find anyone that knows anything about this supposed kollel.
Has anyone heard of it beyond of through this story?
