Why are people so much more concerned about the way we speak about the accused

They're not.
Point is that it's not about calling out an abuser here. It's about the sensation of controversy. Many prestigious abusers who were convicted didn't merit these 'kind' words. We were less concerned about 'their' victims. The fun is when you know that many are 'pareve' about this, and you feel cool showing just how bold and scary you can be.

Everyone is entitled to write/voice an opinion. I was calling out his ridiculous way of expressing his.

Wouldn’t be surprised. No reason to believe him if he can’t produce… I personally know nothing except that one controversial rabbi is claiming something without producing evidence that he claims he has.

All Rav Eliyahu seems to be saying is evidence of eishes ish. That is a far cry from what was alleged and certainly brings to mind Rav Edelsteins comparison to Dovid Hamelech. What would be helpful would be transcripts or other direct evidence of child victims from a reliable vetted source which to date  we have not seen.

One thing that has been on my mind over the last couple of days, is what I see as the total disregard towards CWs own children and family....


by none other than CW himself.

I recall once going to a certain retreat, and one of the first exercises there was one of physical endurance. Now I don't consider myself to be physically fit, or strong in any way shape or form. But out of 40 or more men in attendance, I recall being one of few that were able to endure until the end of the exercise. The mental trick I used to help me was to imagine that the wellbeing and the future of my children was dependent on me succeeding in that specific endurance exercise.

If the allegations against him were untrue, out of care for his own family he would endure, and if the allegations are true (likely IMHO) then his disregard for his family started at the time of those actions.

Either way, his family is definitely not at fault.
