Why do you think it costs almost triple?
Most things sold exclusively to a Jewish market cost more. Unfortunately, many Jews are paying more because they don't price check, but they just walk into the local shop and pay the asking price, when it's often half-price for the same item on Amazon.
But even if it clearly costs more only because of the software, I still think you may be allowed to copy it. Why can't I copy software that I purchased? By music, since the entire Daas was on the music, and it's explicitly expressed that you can't copy it, that makes halachic restrictions. But here, the parties don't have that in mind when they sell it.
