I was just in Sheyan yesterday for my birthday.
Ah didn't blow me away, the food was not bad but it tested a little like it was pre cooked and reheated and the portion sizes have already been mentioned. The eggrolles were actually pretty good. The setting and decor were nice but the seats weren't that comfortable. Also the music selection was disappointing (generic pop garbage) but maybe that only bothers me.

overall: not bad but not great considering the prices. About 3.5 stars (israeli)

So was I. Were you the 12-year-old kid having dinner with his mother, who they brought dessert with sparklers for? ;D

Don't be embarrassed. It's good to have a young look. You'll age slower.

I don't know about sheyan specifically, but generally in Israel, Sunday is the night that people go out the least.

Any sort of cafe open near Meron now where we can get some melava malka? I'd rather avoid the "hachnossas orchim tent" food.
