Thanks! We are booked for stargazing at night..trying to plan the day's activities until there.
Do you have a recommendation for star gazing?
Or a number from someone you used?

For a day in the South I highly recommend Masada, Ein Bokek, Dead Sea- duh, and a Camel Ride through the Judean Desert. I also recommend hiring a tour guide a for the best experience. We used https://www.israelprivatetouring.com/ and were very very happy.

We’re going from TLV area to the Dead Sea and would like to find somewhere along the way to ride a camel. (Doesn’t need to be kid friendly)

Where did you ride the camels?

Travel Medical Insurance:

What medical plan are people using now that you'd recommend?
Many plans are not available in NYS - Like Atlas.

Is Egret Cohen recommended - if I actually become Ill C"V?
https://egertcohen.co.il/tourist-health-insurance/
DP:
Ended up getting from square mouth, put in the state and it filters out the ones that you can’t buy.

Are you looking for a real full-fledged camel ride? A short little ride around can be found at the gas stations on the way to the dead sea once you're in the desert region.

For a “real” ride, Is the Negev Camel Ranch the only good one in that area?

Best way to drive on Kvish 6 in a rental?
Did you register your car in the end?
With a US credit card and phone?
I could not get by the 1st page with a US phone…

Sixt car rental counter says that they charge 15 per trip invoice and that all travels every month are on the same invoice.
Others have said that they will charge 15 for each time I drive on the road.
Which is true?

I don't know, as the only time I did that kind, was many years ago.
But I do remember the tour guide who we went with was Aharon Tzvi Saks, who lives in Meah Shearim and had a 12 or 15 seat van. He took us all over eretz yisroel, in a marathon trip, from neitz by the Kosel till very late at night.
This is the contact I have for him, I hope it's still accurate: 025eight22257 and American # 91seven, 4seven4, 8one60

Officially airport taxis should use the meter but most will offer a fixed price which should be about 260 shekel and they may try to add for baggage and night time.  Most drivers are not Arabic but no guarantee but it will be a legitimate licensed taxi driver. Your other options are a late train or bus to Yerushalayim and then local transportationwhich will be significantly cheaper for a small group but is obviously more difficult logistically.  Finally,  you can take a Nesher group taxi which will be cheaper for a small group but it will wait until it fills before leaving and can be an experience...

If you're cost sensitive, and aren't in a rush, take nesher. They'll drop you off at your house, and it shouldn't be too long a wait at that hour, when trains aren't running
