Like I said numerous times I know one of them personally and the other fellow I know of. I very clearly did *not* defend him as I said I personally think it’s wrong and deceptive. And using the word volunteer isn’t necessarily “clearly lying” although it certainly seems deceptive. Have you asked him what he means?

There are plenty of people who are dishonest. Like, they would straight up lie. Like I said I know these guys and I believe they are honest as in they wouldn’t lie. You’re right that this is deceptive but they probably justify it in their heads and perhaps even tell you about their compensation once you call.

These volunteers are literally the definition of dishonest, and are absolute liars. You won’t find a liar that doesn’t self-justify their lying; that changes nothing. To me this so over the line, I’m quite appalled that the honesty of this operation is even up for debate.

As I’ve stated numerous times I agree it’s quite deceptive and wrong, and never debated the honesty of this operation.

Please explain why it makes him an “absolute liar”. “Volunteers” can be compensated, and in his eyes it’s a gimmicky wordplay that he’s using to advertise his operation which he thinks is helping people get “free money” despite his compensation (which, again, we both believe is quite deceptive). I said I don’t think he is an actual liar, meaning if he told you something straight up I don’t think it would be a lie. This isn’t quite a lie, though it’s dishonest. There *is* a difference.

Although I’ve already said this twice in this post I’ll say it again since that seems to be necessary: I think it’s deceptive and wrong.

Credit cards can be dangerous but they present an added temptation in a world where people need the money

To what degree do you think those opening these cards are financially savvy ? Who hands over their SSN to strangers ?.

That someone is pulled in by $1000 promise, tells us they need cash and thus are the last people to be opening cards .

For me, credit cards get me Hyatt globalist status, AA status etc and many thousands of dollars annually in free flights and hotels

I do use chase ink Premier for business but tbh I view my cards as a perk

I personally know the people behind this. I think the Toeles Horabim language etc. is wrong (was originally done as a joke). I hope they do spend a few minutes telling you what can go wrong.

I don't play the credit card game. I'm here for the deals. And based off the experiences if my friends, I'm happier. One friend has had tons of free vacations and perks. The other is 30000 in debt.

Unfortunately I did not follow the advice listed here, and lent what I thought was a trusted friend tens of thousands of dollars via credit card charges, for what was supposed to be a three week loan. It's been over a year and I have almost given up hope of being repaid.
Does anyone know if I can still dispute the charges with AMEX, and if yes, what the best dispute claim would be?

I have a bounced check and text messages showing intent of repayment, in case that is helpful.

Any advice would be appreciated.
